2020 will begin the New Year bringing the fire with the re-release of one of AXIS' signature songs, 'IT TAKES A NEW MAN', re-mixed and re-mastered, and by the way as relevant today as when Jon wrote it! NEW MAN will be released along with 'KISS THE SKY', music written for a film of the same name by acclaimed director Norman Lang and featuring Tara Buck (Ray Donovan, True Blood) and Jon Butcher in his first on-screen dramatic role. During primary shooting the movie ran into resistance from the parent company due to the controversial nature of the material. As a result the movie soundtrack KISS THE SKY has never been released nor even heard by the general public. The song is raw, soulful and intense, enough to satisfy the most ardent Jon Butcher guitar fan! 'IT TAKES A NEW MAN' and 'KISS THE SKY', new for 2020!
