Acoustic Spring Fling

The NH Acoustic Music Association www.nhama.org presents a Pre-spring Fling fund raiser, highlighting a potpourri of traditional acoustic music such as Celtic, Old Time and folk by outstanding NH musicians.

Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki has been fiddlin' around for 16 years, performing solo and collaborating with numerous bands around New England, New York City, and Ireland. Known for taking the fiddle into genres where it's rarely seen, Jordan nonetheless grew up on traditional Celtic music and therefore good ol' jigs and reels will always have a special place in his heart and in his performances. His new album, Into the Cold, is comprised of original songs deeply rooted in the Celtic tradition but made unique by funk and jam influences.  Contact Jordan directly at Jordan@jordantwmusic.com to attend a pre concert workshop titled “Genre- Hopping” , pre registration required.

From the White Mountains of New Hampshire comes a unique blend of harmonies and guitars from the duo of Kathy Bennett and Thom Perkins. The pair performs a startling array of original songs with powerful lyrics and melodies, coupled with exceptionally strong vocals and guitar playing. http://www.bennettandperkins.com/

The Bradford Bog People play lively foot stomping traditional music of the Appalachian Mountains, from Eastern Kentucky, the Virginias, Ozarks, and North Carolina. Their music features rhythmic clawhammer banjo and fiddle dance tunes, unusual fiddle tunes played in archaic tunings, and ballads.  http://www.bradfordbogpeople.com
